  FAQ

How do I pay for classes?

We accept cash, Cash App, Paypal, Venmo, and checks, however, should we receive a returned check, there will be a $35 NSF charge and you will not be able to use a check as a form of payment, thereafter.

What should my child wear for class?

Hair should be up and away from the face. Please, refrain from ornamental objects in the hair as it is a hazard. If you choose not to wear a leotard, you must wear a sports bra + a fitted tee and shorts with an elastic band, otherwise, a leotard is fine as long as shorts are worn over them or you wear bike shorts or leggings. If you are in a recreational tumble class, you should be barefooted. If you are preparing for cheerleading, you should wear cheer shoes with socks.

*All-Stars will wear team practice gear.

Can I make up for missed classes?

Sorry, if you miss a class, it cannot be made up due to student/coach ratio for each class. We will set makeup classes only in the event the gym is closed due to weather or unforseen emergencies. With that being said, you should always call when in doubt because in most instances we will be open when some schools have closed.

What are your term dates?

We have the following sessions: Summer Session - 8 weeks, Back-to-School Session - 9 weeks, Fall Session - 9 weeks, Winter Session - 9 weeks, Spring Session - 9weeks. During our Summer Sesson, we will offer 2 different Tumble Camps that will run 2 hours for 4 consecutive days. This will allow those with busy summers to get an 8 week session done in 1 week, or you may choose to attend camp in addition to regular classtime! Competitive students are signed on 12 month contracts beginning June, each year.

Are private lessons available?

Private Lessons are available for registered students only.

All lessons will be scheduled through Kim Longabaugh based on availability of each coach. It is recommended to utilize private lessons as a supplement to recreational classes. Please, bear in mind that class schedules will take precedence over private lessons. A Private Lesson Policy will be posted in the gym.

Can we still join your classes after the term has started?

Yes! Each session is 8 or 9 weeks but progression will not restart at the beginning when enrolling for a new session. Each student will be placed according to their own level. A $35 registration fee is due at the beginning of the session. If you should be late or skip a session, you will need to re-register your child, otherwise, your registration fee is good for the remaining school year. Knowing how many students we will have for each session, helps us plan ahead for any changes.

Can parents watch?

Parents of students in recreational classes will be able to attend an Observation Day on the last day of each session to see their child's progress, otherwise, we have a "closed gym policy". All-Star parents will be notified when we will have exhibitions.

What is your ratio of children to coaches?

In Tiny Tumble, there is a 5 to 1 ratio. All other recreational classes have a 7 to 1 ratio. Tiny Tumble classes will max out at 10 students. All other recreational classes will max out at 12 students, unless it is an older advanced class, then it could max out at 15. Competitive squad tumbling will be staffed accordingly.
